Here's a new thread for my more recent sketchbook pages, instead of finding that old crappy page I had
like last year. This is all from my newest sketchbook, so what you're seeing is almost everything that's in there so far.

So, without further ado:

There you go. Now right now, I have 18 pictures to post, and that's before I draw more. So I'll leave a break for now.

The second to last one is soo good! And it looks like you did that without any pencil
either. Awesome job.

Gandalf- Thanks a bunch! That guy was just a doodle using an almost-dead gel pen I found.
The lack of ink made for pretty good shading, actually.

Chorsah- My brain is a kind of cesspool of random ideas. Most of my sketches come on a whim;
those two aren't anything specific, unless my subconscious says otherwise. Wink

Here's the next bunch.

Hope that's not too much for one post. Enjoy.

Note: if the pictures are too small, you can increase the page's text size to see.

I like the different looking people. Lots of diversity which is nice.

Havoc- Great! That's what I've been trying to work on--getting practice with all ages, races, and even styles--
so I don't stay set in one boring group for the rest of my art life. Have to get out of the generic 15-25 age range for
every character, know what I mean? Smile

I certainly do. I have problems drawing Asian people of all things. (Even though I AM Asian.) Confused

Just recently I've started drawing younger characters. Most of my characters have been either in their 15's-25's age range, or 45's-65's. Which is kind of odd if everyone in your story or artwork is old and there are no children in sight. Shocked

I'm impressed by your people's hairstyles and accessories. I'm not really into any fads so I don't know what people are dressing like or how they do their hair, so I usually end up looking through magazines or at people on the street to see whats popular now. AND THEN IT CHANGES!! And my drawings become irrelevant. lol Razz

It's been a few days, and I haven't been drawing as much. Here are some that have found their
way into my sketchbook over the last few weeks.

Whippin' out the Microns (I have trouble with profiles and overall 3Dness on heads):

I know, another animal. But they're easy and seem to be the best way to get style out without thinking
or trying too hard. I find that the harder I try on a drawing, the worse it comes out. Depending on what
mood I'm in. Rolling Eyes

Here's the card I did for my dad's birthday. (Yeah, the hand's wacky and the names are blotted out cuz I'm paranoid like that.)
Also, if the colors look off, it's probably because it's in CMYK instead of RGB. Wink

Sorry for the double post, but there hasn't been any activity. Embarassed

Here are some cards for a school project I had to do, based off the book I Am Legend. They're all done entirely in Photoshop with the tablet and in CMYK, so the colors may be a little off.

Here's the title and exposition:

The conflict and rising action (here's where the colors get really bad with the car and grass and all):

And the climax and resolution:

I plan to do some more drawing tonight. Haven't been doing much lately besides the project and making this avatar for my Twitter account:
