The thread that has some final images in here
Here are some sketches and WIP's:
As you can see their are lots of unresolved issues. Yet and still here is the current colored version:
The left hand that is supposed to be saluting is still not done(not even drawn yet!!). Nor is the right hand. The number of stripes on the flag is incorrect , no stars either. And it looks strange that his feet are being chopped off at the ankles!! Luckily I have not gone to paints on the next few sketches! I can stop the madness now!! LOL!!
STOMP!!!!
I can't remember the names of those toys I'm depicting! The ones that were just the circular heads with hollow cylindrical bodies. I need some visual reference so that I can expand the denizens of the doomed city!
ELF SKI RACE!!!
I still am not satisfied with my penguin ideas. Solidifyig those will help push things along. Their is a good oppourtunity for interaction with the characers watching the race in the background.
FAMILY PENGUIN ICE SKATING
ANOTHER SINGING CHEF JOHN SKETCH
Let me know what you think.

| I love your illustrative style, it is indeed very storybook! They have a real fantasy/ fairy tale feel to them. More in particular, I like that second to last image with the owl, very well done. |
